It’s incumbent on corporate counsel to educate regulators about advancements in their industries, according to speakers at a conference in Phoenix on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 as companies across sectors grapple with meeting the ever-growing needs of customer demands and rethink the fundamental aspects of doing business with new technology.
The panel, which included firm and in-house lawyers as well as a regulator, at a session on the last day of the 2019 Association of Corporate Counsel Annual Meeting discussed how corporate counsel might maneuver the intersection between innovation and regulation.
