Initial public offerings of insurers and InsurTechs brought in $3.83 billion last year, reaching the highest total in at least five years, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence. InsurTech investments have remained strong since recovering from a decline in first quarter of 2020. The coronavirus pandemic highlighted the need for established insurers to be invested in technology and innovative approaches to selling their products and administering their businesses.
