CEO Musk Replaces Tesla’s D&O Policy with ‘Personal Coverage’

CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, has decided to replace the directors & officers (“D&O”) policy with a promise to provide his board members with an “equivalent” coverage personally to what insurers would provide. In an April 28 amended 10K filing, Musk said this decision came because the premiums quoted were “disproportionately high”.
